If you could visualize your life story as a data dashboard, what key metrics would you track to showcase your growth?
I will probably call the dashboard “Clematins Progress Report”. I will design it using Power BI. The most important measurements I would like to follow, and especially on a yearly basis, would be the amount of time spent working on things I really care about, the number of days spent with my family members (especially my parents), and the amount of money donated to philanthropic & altruistic causes.
What's a data-related challenge you've faced that felt like cracking a complex code?
Updating the “Gross Domestic Product - Nigeria 2022” dashboard with the most recent data. After building the dashboard from the course guide, and getting the most recent data as instructed, I kept getting errors each time I tried updating it. This made me realize, after so many trials, that there were certain things I still wasn't getting right when working with Power Query. So I had to go back to some of the lessons on PQ to get that sorted out.
What was your favourite thing about the Resa Data Bootcamp?
The project-centric model, as well as the self-paced component of the program. I love the fact that there are tasks for learners to do after completing a major course, and also the idea that you can study and learn at your own pace without feeling you’re behind or you are ahead of others. This is important as it gives you the freedom to take the lessons in a manner that fits into your daily routine and schedule.
