Research and Data Manager

Job Description

What you will be doing?

• Design, coordinate, and manage mixed-method research activities including quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting for project monitoring and evaluation
• Serve as primary contact for donor (Gates Foundation) on research deliverables, coordinate quarterly data reviews, and communicate complex research insights to diverse audiences including leadership and media partners
• Lead partner engagement and day-to-day coordination with project teams, implementing partners, and stakeholders to ensure research findings inform project strategy and content production decisions

Who You Are

• Experienced researcher with a First Degree in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or related field, with proven experience in research design, data management, analysis, and evaluation for development projects
• Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods with strong technical skills in data analysis software (SPSS, Atlas.ti, NVivo) and demonstrated ability to work in challenging, resource-constrained field environments
• Strong communicator with multi-partner coordination experience, cultural competency in Nigeria, knowledge of family planning context, and ability to manage fieldwork and adapt methods to complex contexts
