Data Center Engineer
Job Description
A Data Center Engineer with 6+ years of experience to manage and maintain data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and availability.
What you will be doing?
- Monitor and manage data center facilities to ensure uptime and operational performance, including daily checks on temperature, power, telecom, and critical parameters
- Supervise vendors and service partners during support and maintenance activities, and schedule preventive maintenance for UPS, generators, fire alarms, and infrastructure
- Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and recommend infrastructure enhancements including cabling, access control, CCTV, and environmental controls
Who You Are
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in data center operations or infrastructure management
- Solid knowledge of data center environmental systems (UPS, HVAC, EMS, fire suppression) and cabling infrastructure with understanding of Tier classifications
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and risk-assessment skills with ability to work independently under pressure in mission-critical environments
