Data Scientist - Delivery Forecasting & Analytics
Job Description
Drive data-informed decision-making for a food and grocery delivery platform by developing forecasting models, analyzing delivery patterns, and providing actionable insights to optimize operations.
What you will be doing?
- Develop and maintain forecasting models for delivery volumes, revenue projections, and customer retention rates using time series analysis and predictive modeling
- Analyze order patterns, customer behavior, and campaign performance to identify operational improvements and business opportunities
- Design dashboards and automated reporting systems for stakeholders while translating complex findings into actionable business recommendations
Who You Are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field with 2-4 years of data science or analytics experience
- Proficient in Python or R, SQL, and experienced with time series forecasting techniques and large datasets
- Skilled in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) with strong communication abilities to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
