Lead, Cybersecurity & Data Privacy
Job Description
Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and data privacy compliance frameworks to protect healthcare data and IT infrastructure across all facilities.
What you will be doing?
- Develop, implement, and monitor cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to protect healthcare data and IT infrastructure from threats and breaches
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations through regular audits and risk assessments, and lead incident response efforts including investigation and containment
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on data privacy best practices and collaborate with teams to integrate security measures into new technologies
Who You Are
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, or IT risk management, preferably within healthcare
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CIPP) highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of data protection laws (HIPAA, GDPR), healthcare IT standards, and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) with proven expertise in risk assessment and incident management
