Job Description
A Reader in Data Science position at a Federal University of Technology requiring a Ph.D. holder with 10+ years of academic experience to lead course development and postgraduate supervision.
What you will be doing?
- Initiate and develop courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Data Science
- Supervise and mentor postgraduate students in areas of specialization
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in high-impact journals
Who You Are
- Ph.D. holder with minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience in a university setting
- Senior Lecturer with at least 3 years in that role with strong publication record (minimum 15% in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals)
- Registered with relevant professional body with administrative experience
