Strategic Data Analytics Officer
Job Description
Lead the transformation of health program data into actionable insights through advanced analytics, visualization, and strategic information management for JHPIEGO Nigeria.
What you will be doing?
- Lead complex data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis using Excel, statistical software, and specialized tools to ensure data integrity across all projects
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI/Tableau and integrate GIS data to visualize program coverage, outcomes, and impact across demographics
- Oversee data quality validation protocols, manage DHIS2 and EMR systems, and train project staff on advanced data management and analytics tools
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in public health, medical sciences, statistics, or related field with at least 5 years of post-NYSC professional experience in health Strategic Information systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, DHIS2, SPSS/STATA, and Power BI with demonstrated ability to train health facility staff on data management tools
- Familiar with USG programs, Nigerian public sector health systems, MNCH+N programs, and quality improvement initiatives with strong MEL experience
