Technical Advisor – Surveillance & Data Management
Job Description
The Technical Advisor for Surveillance and Data Management will lead the implementation of digital surveillance and data management systems to strengthen Nigeria's public health emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
What you will be doing?
- Oversee the data pipeline for Event-Based Surveillance (EBS) and routine stock management data, ensuring data quality and analysis
- Facilitate the operationalization of EBS, CBS, and IBS systems at national and subnatal levels, and support integration with the Com-WATCH digital platform
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for data management with key regulatory partners, championing the One Health data vision
Who You Are
- Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing public health surveillance, M&E, or health information systems in developing countries
- Demonstrated experience in leading stakeholder engagement and policy dialogue with government health agencies
