Data Analyst - Credit Eligibility
Job Description
A Product/Business Data Analyst role focused on building and improving loan eligibility criteria and underwriting frameworks to drive credit access while managing risk.
What you will be doing?
- Analyze repayment data and other sources to continuously improve loan eligibility criteria while managing credit risk
- Refine loan pricing based on credit analysis and customer behavior, and test new loan types to understand demand and performance
- Monitor credit performance to detect risk shifts, use Python and SQL for data analysis, and collaborate with data scientists on machine learning models for eligibility decisions
Who You Are
- Several years of experience in analytical roles with strong statistical modeling, quantitative analysis skills, and fluency in Python and SQL
- Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies with strong data communication skills (written, oral, visual)
- Cross-functional collaborator with strong interpersonal skills; experience in credit, underwriting, or lending analytics is a plus
