National Consultant, Data Collection for Tracer Study on Girls Education and Skills Partnership

Job Description

What you will be doing?

• Conduct field-based quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews (FGDs and KIIs) with beneficiary girls, trainers, employers, parents, and community members using digital data collection tools
• Support development, piloting, and finalization of survey instruments and protocols in collaboration with international consultants and GESP partners
• Perform daily data quality assurance including verification, cleaning, validation, and flagging inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and completeness of collected datasets

Who You Are

• Advanced degree holder in education, international development, social sciences or related field with 3-5 years of field-based data collection experience in development/humanitarian contexts
• Proficient in administering household surveys, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions with practical experience using digital data collection tools (Kobo, ODK, SurveyCTO)
• Knowledgeable about Nigeria's education, skills development, and labor market contexts with prior experience working with UN agencies, INGOs, or research institutions
