The telecommunications industry is a key driver of economic growth in Nigeria. With over 205 million active telephone lines and 154 million internet subscribers, the mobile sector dominates the industry. Major providers in Nigeria include MTN, Airtel, Glo, and 9mobile.

In the first quarter of 2020, according to the data from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the telecommunications industry contributed 12.45% to Nigeria's GDP and created over 300,000 direct and indirect jobs. The Nigerian government has implemented policies, such as the National Broadband Plan (2020-2025), to encourage investment and increase broadband penetration in the country.

In this tutorial post, you're going to learn how to analyze the telecommunications sector data in Power BI. We assume a pedagogic approach to learning and take you through each step practically.
