Analysis and Visualisation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Power BI and Excel
The project examines Nigeria’s GDP between Q1 2020 and Q3 2024. It looked at the quarterly trend within the different sectors of the economy first up to the Q1 2022, and with updated data, to Q3 2024. The most up-to-date GDP data was obtained from the National Bureau of Statistics website, normalized in excel and then transformed and added to the previous datasets in Power Query. Findings reveal that contrary to popular assumptions, agriculture and not oil is the main contributor to the nations GDP. Again we find that crop production contributed over 80% to the agriculture sector group in Q3 2024. This shows that the nation has moved away from its oil dependency. The seasonal nature of agriculture has meant that the GDP drops significantly in the first two quarters of every year, with steep rises during the last two quarters.

Introduction to Tableau
The project dataset looks at the human resources management of Zenith Tech. It looks at the staff strength, staff turnover and possible reasons for the turnover. It also examines issues such as the salaries being paid, performance scores and employee engagement in an attempt at unravelling the reason behind the plummeting morale among the employees. Findings include the facts that out of 311 staff employed from inception, over 100 (about one-third) have had their employment terminated. Age Groups 36-40, and 41-45 had the highest number of terminations. This coupled with the fact that terminations were highest for those seeking another position suggests that career prospects within Zenith Tech are not very exciting

Analysis and Visualisation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Power BI and Excel
After performing the initial project with GDP data between 2020 to 2022 first quarter, the result shows that Real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) decreased at an annual rate of -14.66% in Q1 2022, following an increased of 9.63% in the preceeding quarter. Also, against the same quarter last year, Real GDP was higher by 3.11%decreased. But when I included the GDP data from second quarter of 2022 to third quarter of 2024, the result shows that Real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 10.01% in Q3 2024, following an increased of 0.04% in the preceeding quarter. Also, against the same quarter last year, Real GDP was higher by 3.46%. This shows that the economy performed better in third 2024 compared to first quarter 2022.

Analysis and Visualisation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Power BI and Excel
Wow very intensive and comprehensive course. We all had our hands dirtied and I have learned so much about data normalization, cleaning, transformation and visualization in Power BI having had such a hands=on experience.. However, the course was also an eye opener to me that I still have a lot to learn about Power BI especially DAX functions. Our tutor handled it as if we were already master which to me wasn't good enough, although it was challenging and inspiring, How I wish we could still have access to the course videos or alternatively, recommended materials/channels we can always fall back to from time to time.A big thanks to the Resagratia team.

Wow! It's been a very demanding and rewarding journey. Glory to God I have been able to submit my project, now awaiting feedback from my tutor.
The lessons were very captivating and easy to understand though with some difficult aspect as well, talking about some calculated field stuffs. From the very first lesson all through to the very last one, I have enjoyed every bit of the ride even though the project was a bit of a hard nut to crack. Tableau is very optimized for data visualization that even a beginner with zero experience can fully grasp.
Thank you to the Resa Team for the good job they've done putting this resources together.

This test was mentally challenging but worth the time and efforts exerted as it helped me get a better grasp of some of the excel functions I've learnt in the course of the bootcamp. For some of the questions, I had to use Google to refresh my knowledge while for some others, I had to put my brain to task. This test gave me a feel of a real work situation even though I know the pressure may not be the same as that of a real work situation.
Well done! I must commend the Resa team for putting together such a training package and I hope to make the most of it while I'm here.

Data Portfolio And Capstone Project For Data Analytics
WOW!!! What an incredible journey it has been studying Data Analytics at this amazing school—Resagratia!
I started as a complete novice, someone who had no idea what data truly meant or how it could be used. Today, I can confidently say I’ve acquired a solid foundation and a well-rounded skillset that qualifies me to proudly wear the title of Data Analyst.
This transformation would not have been possible without the visionary leadership of the school's founder, Mr. Tobi Williams, and his exceptional team.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all my tutors: Mr. Geovanni, Mr. Ahmed Oyelowo, Mr. John Analoh, Mr. Taiwo Adegbite, and Ms. Adekunle Rihannat. Your dedication and teaching made a lasting impact on my growth.
A special thanks to my ever-supportive and motivational TA, Mr. Sobowale Daniel—your check-in call was a game-changer.
The Capstone Project was eye-opening, enriching, and truly made me feel like the newest Data Analyst in town! 😄
Thank you, Resagratia. Thank you, Mr. Tobi.

Data Portfolio And Capstone Project For Data Analytics
I felt more confident with this project, in comparison with my first (the Group project), and as a result I enjoyed it more.
Starting with a raw dataset that included sales, order, product, shipping, and geographic information, I learned how to design a clean and efficient data model by creating dimension tables and building the right relationships between them.
One of the first key lessons I applied was the importance of removing duplicates when creating lookup tables (such as for Products and Countries) to enable accurate one-to-many relationships. I also understood how to properly use a Date table for time-based analysis — a crucial step for enabling calculations like year-over-year (YoY) comparisons.
The new learning point for me, thanks to this project was calculating shipping time by creating a calculated column to measure the difference in days between order and shipping dates — at first my values were wrong when applied on the bar chart, but I learned how to troubleshoot and resolve (by relooking at aggregations).
My love for storytelling, has found a new tool data and I'm grateful for everything I’ve learned & look forward to continous practice and the opportunity to apply my skills in a real work setting.
Thank you Resagratia 💙. The journey was worth it.

Analysis and Visualisation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Power BI and Excel
At first, diving into Power BI felt intimidating, but true to the Resagratia spirit, the challenge pushed me to grow in ways I needed to.
One of the key lessons came from an error I encountered after renaming the data sheets, which caused the tables to have an error & the applied steps to break. Instead of starting over, I took the time to understand how Power BI links data sources, with the help of AI. I figured out a workaround and managed to reconnect the data and bring the dashboard back to life.
This experience reminded me that problem-solving is at the heart of data work. It’s not just about getting the visuals right, but about understanding the relationships beneath the surface. More importantly, I learned to stay patient, dig deeper, and keep going even when things break.
By the end of the case study, I not only had a working dashboard—I had a stronger grasp of Power BI, a deeper confidence in my analytical skills, and a real sense of accomplishment.

Working on the Sera-Growth-Analysis project was a great experience. I spent a lot of time looking into payment trends, how people use subscriptions, and how to make sense of data. I focused on the "Sales_Data" dataset, where I used SQL to clean and change the data, built easy-to-read Excel dashboards, and used Pivot Tables and charts to study user activity. Some tasks, like changing text dates into real timestamps and linking transactions to subscriptions, were tricky, but fun, and helped me improve my skills. I enjoyed finding patterns, like how subscription rates increased as the number of transactions grew. This project was a mix of research and creativity, and I’m proud of the useful insights I was able to deliver.

As I highlighted in the "Forecasting" sheet, my recommendations are as follows:
-Boost productivity
Provide high-yield seeds, fertilizers, and farm equipment.
-Strengthen Infrastructure
These focused actions can help stabilize and grow the agricultural sector, supporting overall GDP growth.

GDP Sectoral Trend Analysis and Forecasting Report
A review of Nigeria’s quarterly real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data reveals that the agriculture sector, and more specifically the crop production sub-sector, has consistently been the largest contributor to the country’s GDP. However, recent data from Q1 2024 highlights a notable decline in total GDP, with a significant portion of the drop attributable to reduced output in the agriculture sector.
This report explores the observable trends in GDP, identifies patterns and potential causes of the recent decline in crop production, and offers practical recommendations to address the issue. It also provides a short-term projection for GDP performance in the next quarter.
Trend and Pattern Identification
These patterns suggest that while agriculture remains a stronghold of the economy, its performance is vulnerable to climatic, economic, and security conditions, especially in the crop production segment.
Likely Causes of the GDP Drop in Crop Production
Several interrelated factors are likely responsible for the recent downturn in crop output:

Working on the Sera Ltd subscription analysis project provided a holistic view of customer payment patterns and retention dynamics. By transforming raw transaction records into structured fact and dimension tables, we uncovered monthly revenue trends in NGN and USD, identified peak revenue periods, and visualized subscriber growth month-over-month. The geo-mapping of payment attempts illuminated geographic hotspots, while the channel, card type, and bank breakdown highlighted friction and success points in the payment flow. Analyzing user activity revealed that multiple transaction attempts significantly boost subscription likelihood, guiding targeted engagement. Overall, this end-to-end exercise from SQL modeling to dashboard design demonstrates the power of actionable data-driven insights for strategic decision-making and continuous operational optimization.

This GDP analysis Dashboard project was an insightful and quite interesting project to follow through and learn alongside. From the introduction to the data transformation in excel to data transformation in power bi and power query, to analysis and visualization in power bi, all packed with their sub tutorials, the learning journey was all worth it. At first, navigating the data sets and transforming the data, especially creating date tables into meaningful visuals was a little bit overwhelming. I learned how to clean data from scratch, create complex measures and formulas with DAX, and design a user-friendly layout that clearly communicates economic trends highlighting where there was an increase or a decrease in GDP. Despite the hurdles, I embraced each challenge as a learning opportunity. With patience, persistence, and interest, I saw my dashboard come to life, visually telling a story behind all the initial data. I truly enjoyed the process and felt a strong sense of accomplishment.

Introduction to Tableau
Though not as challenging as PowerBI 😊, the test turned out to be one challenging at the beginning, but very rewarding and exciting as I progressed with the questions.
The test required not just technical proficiency, but also a strategic mindset in presenting data in a way that tells a clear, compelling story. What made it particularly interesting was the hands-on nature of the exercise: working with real datasets, selecting the right visualizations, and making sense of patterns hidden within the numbers. It tested my ability to think critically, interpret trends, and draw actionable insights — all under time pressure.
Although it was tough, I genuinely enjoyed the challenge. It reinforced my appreciation for the power of data visualization in decision-making and showed me how much I’ve grown in using Tableau to turn raw data into something meaningful.
This experience has motivated me to continue sharpening my skills in analytics and visualization, and I’m excited to keep building on this foundation as I move forward in the course.

This project does a great job of breaking down key business metrics using SQL. It looks at things like how orders are spread across cities, how much food partners contribute, delivery times, and customer spending habits. The approach is solid, and the queries make sense for answering the business questions.
I’d say I understood about 80% of it, but I had to do some research—especially when it came to calculating shares and optimizing queries for better efficiency. Learning more about JOINs, GROUP BY, and conditional aggregations helped a lot.
If I were to take this further, I’d look into trends over time, customer retention, or which stores bring in the most profit. Overall, it was a solid learning experience!

Excel Practical Challenge Test
This project has been a real journey—equal parts exciting, challenging, and enlightening! As a newbie to the world of data analysis, I initially found myself overwhelmed by the seemingly endless possibilities and functions. From formulas that refused to cooperate to pivot tables that tested my patience, every step came with a new learning curve. But slowly, with lots of trial and error (and a few tutorials and asking questions from my mentor), things started to click. It’s truly amazing how a well-placed formula or a neatly structured table can transform a chaotic dataset into something meaningful and insightful.
There were moments of frustration, but those were balanced by small wins—like finally figuring out that tricky COUNTIF, COUNTIFS etc. This experience has not only improved my technical skills but also built my confidence in Excel sheet. While it may not be perfect, I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished as an aspiring analyst.
I hope the markers will see the effort, growth, and determination behind this project and appreciate it for what it is—a first step on a much bigger learning journey. Thank you for your patience and support.

I was easily able to clean and normalize the excel data, though it was a bit difficult for me to input the 2024 data into the existing power query.
Policy changes should be made or investments even to increase production in the economy.
This project shows how important power bi is needed, it’s ability to merge different datasets and also bringing diverse visualizations in the way data can be presented and at the same time providing deep insights into issues concerning the data. I was able to uncover what I may think is the underlying cause of the drop in production.
A different strategy or approach should to be taken for economic development

Introduction to Tableau
I would say a major reason for the crisis is employee absences. Majority of the absences in the company are from departments that major roles in the growth, productivity and profitability of the company.
Also, the difference in the salary of the executive office and other departments is quite high. Understandably, it’s a lot of work to oversee and manage an entire company, it would still be advisable to look into it and maybe increase the salary of other departments or give some sort of incentives that would motivate them.
I was able to explore different options of presenting data.
Although I made some mistakes, I was able to learn new things from the mistakes I made, and I may prefer tableau to other tools when it comes to visualization and presentation.

come together in a way told a good story of the data was wonderful.
The value of the bootcamp exceeded its cost by far. I am thrilled
as I look forward to more analyzing and visualizations of data.
Thank you, Resagratia!

Analysis and Visualisation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Power BI and Excel
Exciting project, it was very engaging and i enjoyed every bit of it. It was nice to use knowledge from other topics for this project because i feel like it refreshed my memory on that topic. It was also interesting to see the application of what i learned come into practice. With every thing that has been taught i am sure that i can tackle the issues that any data analyst role throws at me. I did have some issues along the way but they were handled effectively. This powerful data visualization tool enhanced my analytical skills and gave me the ability to turn raw data into insightful, interactive dashboards. I enjoyed exploring real-world scenarios and learning to present data in visually appealing ways that facilitate better decision-making. Mastering Power BI not only improved my technical expertise but also boosted my confidence in delivering data-driven insights effectively. Thank you for everything that has been taught to me.

Final Operations Analyst Job Test
This project was very insightful and really refreshed my memory on excel formulas, functions, Pivot tables and charts as well as pivot dashboard.
It helped me in researching on how to use functions to calculate dates (months and years), previous and present dates in relation to the project's timeframe/scope.
The Lookup functions were required in solving the tasks which also brought back fresh memory on how to use them.
Even though the task did not require us creating a dashboard, I decided to create one in order to put to use some of the skills learnt so far. This greatly helped to discover some tools within the pivot charts which I have not used before now.
On a broader view, this exercise, to a certain extent, gave me an insight into what I should be expecting in the real world of Data Analyst.
Empowering individuals and businesses with the tools to harness data, drive innovation, and achieve excellence in a digital world.
